Production Controller
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Production controller has the responsibility to manage business performance of microelectronics capital project correctly and properly to operate this business segment robustly. This role can help find the issues on the project in advance and take countermeasures, control acceptance for supplier, ensure the revenue recognition, forecast the revenue/profit, and to grasp the actual result in timely manner.

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Pay: $60,000-$70,000
Responsibilities:
• Build and visualize project schedules using software tools based on proactively gathered production data.
• Track project milestones, business performance, and capital project workflows to ensure alignment with goals.
• Spot schedule delays, procurement roadblocks, and financial bottlenecks well in advance.
• Report problems to management immediately and collaborate with project members to implement solutions.
• Oversee capital project execution to meet scheduled timelines, scope, and target revenue/profits.
• Establish monthly revenue, profit, and cash flow forecasts while proposing countermeasures for any variances.
• Maintain a strong understanding of corporate accounting, finance principles, and revenue recognition guidelines.
• Evaluate and approve supplier acceptances accurately and timely without causing payment delays.
• Partner with Sales and Application Engineering (AE) to define terms, conditions, and delivery scopes.
• Monitor the status of all project purchasing, contract conditions, and supplier payment terms.
• Drive timely project closeouts based on completed progress and operational milestones.
• Handle budgets, actuals, and system inputs (NAV) while efficiently utilizing administrative support.
Qualifications:
- Two-year technical degree or four-year degree in Engineering or Business
- Two years project management experience in an industrial application
- Have expertise with project management software tools for scheduling and budgeting.
- Have a basic knowledge of accounting and finance related to projects.
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks & priorities.
Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner:
- Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
- Standing and walking for sustained periods of time.
