Controlling Specialist 

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Statutory Consolidation & EMEA Group Controlling Specialist to join our Controlling Team.

Main tasks and responsibilities will be the following:

As Statutory Consolidation & EMEA Group Controlling Specialist, you will be a pivotal part of the Business Controlling team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform KEG statutory consolidation activities, including consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations and validation of reported data.
  • Manage leasing consolidation activities in accordance with IFRS requirements.
  • Conduct detailed Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reviews, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with Group Accounting policies.
  • Prepare and review Group Cash Flow Statement.
  • Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders (local finance teams, Group Finance and auditors) on consolidation and statutory reporting topics.
  • Support the monthly reporting process, ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency, and compliance with deadlines.
  • Calculate and follow-up Global Cost with the support of Finance Managers from different subsidiaries.
  • Support the budget and forecasting process and build solid financial forecast scenarios based on advanced data analytics and a solid set of assumptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance consolidation/reporting processes, controls and documentation.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or Msc in Business Administration, Finance or related.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience in business controlling positions. Preferably within manufacturing and commercial entities or Big Four.
  • Knowledge of statutory consolidation principles and experience in consolidation activities is highly valued.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and experience with SAP ERP is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills, combined with the right 'can do' attitude.
